Faith in Place empowers communities of various faiths to serve as leaders in the environmental movement. Their Green Team Coaches work in concert with local faith communities to help them enact positive change, develop leadership skills, and connect with potential allies. Faith in Place has Green Teams across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana, and is also an affiliate of the national Interfaith Power & Light organization, which advocates for environmental justice nationwide.

Plant with Purpose
Plant with Purpose is an international Christian organization that works to reverse both global poverty and environmental damage in 9 countries worldwide. In pursuit of this mission, they empower rural farming families with community-based projects related to watershed restoration, regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, climate mitigation, economic resilience, and education. Their development work is holistic and locally-led, with an additional emphasis on women’s inclusion.
