Tomás Saraceno explores aspects of the Capitalocene era — the epoch we are in, as defined by some to be focused primarily on the creation and expansion of capital ($$$) — via his interest in solar powered flying apparatuses, floating sculptures, spiders, clouds, and orbits that are intended to “ethically interact with the atmosphere” and create new dialogs about how we sense or inhabit the environment.
