Working with natural ecological patterns and processes, Stacy Levy creates art that often responds to the site in visually poignant or even healing ways. Some of her installations utilize plans to help filter and clean lakes, register tides, depict wind, process or direct runoff to rivers, and the like. Levy draws on her architectural studies as well as her fine art background while collaborating with scientists and urban planners to produce public installations that delight while they encourage viewers to look deeper at nature.
