A Gen X Ugandan climate activist, Nyombi Morris fights against the deforestation of the Bugoma Forest. He is a member of the youth-led grassroots organization Fridays For Future. After his family was affected by climate change, destroying his family’s farm, Morris started working to bring the climate change conversation and tree planting to schools in Africa. Morris has planted 7,500 trees while visiting thirteen schools to discuss the importance of reforestation to restore ecosystems. Currently, he is raising $33,500 to keep his work going as he continues to spread climate change awareness to schools.
