Working with ecological and technological systems, Lindsey French engages with multi-sensory signaling as a connecting theme in her artmaking. French is inspired by biological definitions of communication and endeavors to shift the human perspective to that of non-human life. Using sound, scent, software, video, and more, they have even created novels and poetry “authored by plants.”
