Project Drawdown Logo

Project Drawdown

This organization tries to stimulate the world to reach Drawdown, which is the point when greenhouse gasses stop climbing and begin to decline, by educating on sources and supporting reductions, carbon sinks, and societal equality. In detailed sections, Project Drawdown covers a wide array of real-world solutions that are currently available, scalable, and financially viable, with solid research and statistics as well as models and methods for each proposed solution. This effort grew from a popular book of the same name (simply “Drawdown”) by Paul Hawkin into a large organization with many programs.
