Doug Fogelson
After suffering an asthma attack due to smoke from a massive wildfire in California and attending classes with her mother who was pursuing an M.A. in Climate Studies, Alexandria Villaseñor became activated. She joined Zero Hour’s NY chapter and began to protest in front of the United Nations on a regular basis. Similar in ways to Greta Thunberg (who has become an ally), Villaseñor founded a climate action group called Earth Uprising and is a follower of Fridays For Future. She attends forums and summits and has already received many accolades and awards for her speaking and activist projects.
