Vina Lustado is the founder of Sol Haus Design, a boutique design firm based in Ojai, California that focuses on sustainable spaces. After two decades in high-end corporate architecture, she shifted her focus toward creating small-scale, ecologically conscious housing that is accessible to all. She creates spaces that are beautiful and affordable, while also minimizing environmental impact.

In 2012, Lustado built her own 140-square-foot off-grid tiny home on wheels, a project that reflects her deep personal commitment to her core values of sustainability and affordability. Through Sol Haus Design, she continues to create designs rooted in these principles.

Lustado has earned international recognition for her work, including receiving FWN’s Global 100 Most Influential Filipina Women “Innovator and Thought Leader” Award in 2015. She has also shared her expertise on social entrepreneurship and sustainable design at various forums, including the Yale Center for Business and the Environment.
