Tammy Duckworth is a United States senator from Illinois and a leading voice on environmental issues in US politics. Duckworth believes that climate change poses grave threats to our country’s future, and therefore advocates for an urgent response. In service of this goal, she has supported and secured funding for clean energy and carbon capture initiatives, as well as programs designed to provide clean drinking water and disaster protections.
